For a marvellous treatment that combines Euclid and Hilbert, see the beautiful book Geometry: Euclid and beyond, by Hartshorne. The book is short and can be leisurely completed in less than two months. Or, Hartshorne's Geometry: Euclid and Beyond. The book is about teaching geometry to undergrads from four different perspectives: 1) axiomatic a la Euclid, 2) linear algebra, 3) Projective and 4) transformations. Anderson's Hyperbolic Geometry. Robin Hartshorne, Geometry: Euclid and Beyond p 341. Has two sides, make the subject unbearably boring to students and essentially unteachable. Ghorpade, Sudhir R., Limaye, Balmohan V., A Course in Multivariable Calculus and Analysis, 2010 153. Another one that I have been told is a good source is Hartshorne's "Geometry: Euclid and Beyond". For nearly two thousand years since Euclid, while the range of geometrical questions asked and answered inevitably expanded, basic understanding of space remained essentially the same. Hartshorne, Robin, Geometry: Euclid and Beyond, 2010 154. I am not sure how many schools use it as the textbook for the axiomatic treatment of geometry, but I highly recommend it.
